What this policy covers
This policy describes how Studio 47 handles personal information collected through this website. Studio 47 is a video production and social media company based in Westlake Village, California.
It covers the inquiry form, the newsletter signup, and the third party services this site relies on to load and to play video. It does not cover information you give Studio 47 by other means, or the privacy practices of any site you reach by following a link from here.
Information collected through this site
The inquiry form collects what you type into it: first name, last name, email address, an optional phone number, the service categories you select, an optional preferred date, an optional budget range, and your message. Those fields exist so a reply can address your actual project. Nothing on the form is collected for any other purpose.
The newsletter signup collects an email address, and only if you enter one.
This site does not ask for payment details, government identification numbers, or account credentials. It has no login and no user accounts.
How that information is used
Inquiry form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry and to discuss the project you described. Newsletter signups are used to send updates about the studio, and you can ask to be removed at any time.
Studio 47 does not sell personal information. Information submitted through this site is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Third party services this site uses
Two external services are involved in loading this site, and each receives a request from your browser as a normal part of that.
Google Fonts serves the typefaces used across the site. Video on this site streams from Squarespace's content delivery network, which is where Studio 47's footage is hosted, so pressing play sends a request to that service. Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy, and their handling of those requests is outside Studio 47's control.
If the inquiry form is processed by a form handling service, that provider receives your submission in order to deliver it. The provider in use is named in the section below when applicable.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising trackers.
If analytics are added in future, this section will name the tool and describe what it measures before it is switched on.
Retention and security
Inquiry submissions and newsletter signups are kept for as long as they are useful for responding to you and maintaining a record of the conversation, and are deleted on request.
Information is transmitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and no site can promise otherwise.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information Studio 47 holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. You can ask to stop receiving newsletter emails at any time.
California residents have rights regarding personal information under state law, including the right to know what is collected and the right to request deletion. To exercise any of these, use the inquiry form and say what you are asking for.
This site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
